“Our investments have increased since working with New Vision – I can’t believe how much by!”
We were looking for a new adviser as ours had retired; fortunately a friend recommended Carol and we’ve never looked back!
My husband and I were already retired at this point and so we thought that all we needed was someone to continue to manage our investments for us.
After both having busy careers, we had ambitious plans to travel extensively throughout our retirement.
However, our portfolio wasn’t in the best shape at that time. We’d lost some money and so the first thing Carol had to do was to settle the ship.
This meant making some big decisions
We were lucky enough to have properties abroad that brought in money, so we sold our London house and invested money in an apartment instead. We moved to North Wales, which freed up some capital.
That enabled us to continue our retirement plans with confidence.
We’re 73 and 75 but thanks to Carol we’re still travelling non stop! We spent six weeks in Australia, travelling in a camper van, and then about the same time in New Zealand.
We love cruising as well and have sailed round Japan, and travelled to America through the Pacific. There aren’t many places we haven’t been!
Planning a legacy
Not only did Carol and the team give us the confidence to enjoy the future, but gave us such brilliant advice.
We hadn’t considered passing our wealth on, for example, and what if something happened to us? Carol and her team went above and beyond to sort out our inheritance tax planning and arrange private medical insurance.
It comes down to one thing – peace of mind
What we also love is New Vision are interested in new technology and moving forward.
They’re not an old-fashioned firm. Whether we’re in Australia or the smallest most obscure island, Carol will text us any time if she needs to – day or night. She’ll explain the situation and if she can’t at the time, she’ll say “Leave it with me” and get back to us.
Our investments have increased since working with them – I can’t believe how much by – and we know that should we be away from home, but everything will still be sorted out.
We’re over the moon with New Vision and can’t recommend them highly enough.
